Biotechnological valorization of sugar beet wastes into value-added products

چکیده
The sugar beet processing in the production industry releases huge amounts of pulp, lime residue, and molasses, which can be considered a valuable by-product as source cellulose, hemicellulose, pectin. Sugar pulp is often used high-energy, low-protein supplement for ruminants to promote optimal rumen health increase milk production. However, it cannot large quantities thrown away, causing environmental pollution. Valorizing wastes via biotechnological approaches into value-added products cost-effective eco-friendly. In this article, recent developments valorization byproducts produce biofuels, bioethanol, butanol, biomass platform chemicals such gluconic acid, lactic rhamnolipid biosurfactant, endo-polygalacturonase were reviewed, methods provide way save environment. Several plants Kyrgyz Republic offer these roadmap

Biotechnological Generation of Value Added Products from Spent Pulping Liquors: Assessing the Potential of Extremophiles
Worldwide bio-economy concepts foster the conversion of biomass into a range of food, health, fiber, industrial products, and energy. However, there is a risk that the diversion of farmland or crops for the production of biofuels and bio-based products compromises the food supply-the food versus fuel dilemma. One way to circumvent this dilemma is the use of spent liquors from the pulping indust...
متن کاملProduction of By-Products of the Sugar Beet Industry
Technical men outside of the sugar industry are apt to view the manufacture of sucrose from sugar beets as a most interesting and somewhat complex process. Those of us who are not sugar technologists are frequently astonished at the amount of knowledge that has been developed in that industry, at the smoothness of its operation, at the degree of operational standardizing which has taken place b...
متن کاملIntegrated Bioethanol Fermentation/Anaerobic Digestion for Valorization of Sugar Beet Pulp
Large amounts of waste biomass are generated in sugar factories from the processing of sugar beets. After diffusion with hot water to draw the sugar from the beet pieces, a wet material remains called pulp. In this study, waste sugar beet pulp biomass was enzymatically depolymerized, and the obtained hydrolyzates were subjected to fermentation processes. Bioethanol, biomethane, and biohydrogen ...
متن کاملBiotechnological production of value-added carotenoids from microalgae
We recently evaluated the relationship between abiotic environmental stresses and lutein biosynthesis in the green microalga Dunaliella salina and suggested a rational design of stress-driven adaptive evolution experiments for carotenoids production in microalgae. Here, we summarize our recent findings regarding the biotechnological production of carotenoids from microalgae and outline emerging...
